Reviews and Ratings
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was very nicely decorated and had everything needed for a comfortable night's rest. Despite the heating always being off, the room was always very hot. The service was nice, especially the lady at reception who was very helpful and accommodating. However, there was quite a bit of noise coming from the bar area. The location, though a bit misleading in terms of distance from the town center, was great once found, next to a scenic canal path for walks. The dining options were freshly cooked and tasty, with plenty to choose from, but not the best value for money. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained.
My stay at the hotel was absolutely delightful. The rooms were well laid out and comfortable, making my overall experience cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend this place and even plan to return in the upcoming Spring. However, I did feel a bit unclean at times, despite the rest of the room being spotless, and the room was a tad too warm during the night, even though it was cool outside.
My stay at this hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room I had was quiet, away from the pub in a lodge, but it felt dull and lacked atmosphere. On the bright side, it was very comfortable, clean, and had a nice coffee machine with pods. The service was top-notch, with welcoming and friendly staff who were always eager to please. The location was superb, being next to a waterway with a lovely terrace and an easy flat walk into Lincoln. However, the dining experience was a bit hit-and-miss and could be expensive. The facilities were sufficient, and I appreciated the value for the price paid.
